  3. Oooh, love this. Angelica and the Leighton painting have a remarkable resemblance.

And I do so miss Ms. Kidman's original lips.

  5. I am amazed at the Brad Pitt and Benito Del Toro. I never noticed the resemblance before.

I have to agree that I miss Nicole Kidman's real lips.

I don't understand this modern Hollywood obsession with lip inflation. It actually ages these actresses, and they end up looking like they are having an allergic reaction to something or got in bar fight.

If only more women would embrace their aging elegantly like Helen Mirren and Meryl Streep.

  6. Spot on observations!
The resemblance of Maria Felix to Bianca is chilling.
For awhile I thought Clooney(calm down Jeanne)had a certain swank like Clark Gable but your'e right about Cary Grant and GEORGE CLOONEY!!! *screams & faints*

  9. Totally agree with Brad Pitt and Del Toro...although Pitt seems to be aging better after we watched the Werewolf movie Toro was in.

  10. Love your blog and all the things that interest you! I believe you live near where I just came from - St. Jean de la Porte in the Savoie area? I am an artist and was there for 3 weeks of watercoloring with my art group from Los Angeles, California. Loved it there and am still working on many paintings of the area. We stayed at Chateau St. Philippe and visited Lyon, Annecy and Talloires, all beautiful. Previously I have gone with my art group to paint in Italy: Assisi, Lucca and Lake Como. I also adore the photos of Crusoe your darling dog. Thank you for all your efforts to make such an entertaining blog! I will be following you. Cynthia
